Black Canyon Ultras| Mayer, AZ

  • Experience the beauty of winding Sonoran Desert trails in the shadow of Arizona’s Bradshaw Mountains. The course is point-to-point with net elevation loss but do not be fooled; this is a tough and taxing course with the majority of elevation gain coming the second half of the course.

Stories Ultra | Colorado Springs, Co

  • The Stories Trail Runs is a unique winter trail running adventure taking place in Colorado Springs, CO against the breathtaking backdrop of Cheyenne Mountain, and “America’s Mountain” Pike’s Peak, with sweeping views of the Colorado Front Range below. This event features an amazing community atmosphere made possible by our main staging area/aid station at the start/finish of each loop. The Stories timed events (30-hr, 15-hr, 6-hr) are unique in that rather than repeating loops on the same 1-2 mile track, participants will enjoy multiple loops spread out through Cheyenne Mountain State Park.

Running Up For Air| Staunton State Park Colorado

  • unning Up For Air-Staunton is the Colorado edition of the Running Up for Air Series: a 3, 6, 12, or 24-hour winter endurance challenge that takes place at Staunton State Park in Pine, Colorado.  Now in its 6th year, Running Up for Air Staunton was launched in 2017 to raise money in support of the fight for improved air quality for those who live along the front range of Colorado – extending from Ft. Collins to Pueblo. .

Moab Red Hot Ultras| Moab, UT

  • The Red Hot is located northwest of Moab, Utah just west of Arches National Park. Red Hot runners will have majestic views of the La Sal Mountains to the southeast and breathtaking views of Canyonlands National Park to the west. The course is a combination of jeep trail and singletrack that will quickly become one of your favorite winter challenges. .

Run Through Time Marathon and Half| Salida, CO

  • The 19th Annual Run Through Time Marathon, Half Marathon, and 2 Mile Run will take place on Saturday, March 9, in Salida, CO. These beautiful, challenging courses are run on dirt/jeep roads and narrow, hilly single track with fantastic views of Salida and the Arkansas Valley. Elevations range from 7000-9000 feet. Foot travel only.  There is a 7 1/2 hour time limit for the marathon, and a 5 hour time limit for the half marathon.

Canyonlands Half Marathon| Moab, UT

  • Lucky runners will start at Sandy Beach, a boat launching site located next to the Colorado River. Pre-race jitters are replaced the excitement as runners take in awe inspiring views of towering red rock canyon walls and the red reflections of the rising sun. The course will travel east for a half mile before turning around and heading down river toward the Moab Valley. After traveling down post-card alley for the entirety of the race, runners will finish at the ever beautiful Lions Park, adjacent to Arches National Park..

Behind the Rocks Ultra| Mayer, AZ

  • Behind the Rocks Ultra starts and finishes at the Behind the Rocks Trail, along the border of the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area. Moab’s last hidden gem; its tall standing Navajo Sandstone domes and fins can be seen from many places along the course. This course traverses some remote trails, and give you the opportunity to enjoy the desert solitude. From smooth double track to sandy washes, technical doubletrack, and challenging singletrack, Behind the Rocks Ultra will test you mentally and physically. While the 10 Mile and 30K can give runners an introduction to Moab trail running, the 50 mile course is among our most challenging events..

  •  On April 20th, 2024 the Chaffee County Running Club will organize the Spiral Drive Run – A four mile race that will take place on County Roads 177 and 176. This is a competitive race, final times will be recorded but ultimately the goal is to encourage outdoor recreation within Chaffee County in a fun and social atmosphere.

Take 5 in the Garden of the Gods| Colorado Springs, Co

  • Who can turn down a morning in Garden of the Gods? We’ll close the park to traffic, so runners can enjoy their race, traffic free! Runners can choose between a road race or a trail race! Whether choosing road or trail, runners are treated to views of the iconic scenes of the Garden, Siamese Twins, Kissing Camels, and Balanced Rock.  All with snow capped Pikes Peak in the backdrop. Runners who want to spend more time amid the impressive red rock formations can now run a 9.5 mile course! Closed roads and beautiful scenery make this race through “America’s Most Beautiful Park” a must do!.

Collegiate Peaks Trail Ride| Buena Vista, Co

  • Experience Buena Vista riding at its finest, with the Collegiate Peaks Trail Ride!  With great views of Mt. Princeton & the Sawatch range, this route offers a little bit of everything, from sandy OHV trails, rolling gravel roads, to flowy singletrack.  We’d recommend riding something with at least a 2″ (~50c) tire for this adventure ride..

Valkyrie Trail Race| Colorado Springs, Co

  • Taking place in Cheyenne Mountain State Park in southern Colorado Springs, Valkyrie Trail Race is a must-do ladies’ event. With distances from 4 mile to 50k, this event is an amazing women’s trail celebration! Beginning on crushed limestone in the meadow, trails then take runners onto singletrack and upwards towards Cheyenne Mountain.  After descending the Talon Trail, runners then traverse technical rocky paths through the cool pine trees of the lower park. Springtime in Colorado Springs is the perfect time to experience these beautiful trails!.

Bears Ears Ultra|Monticello, UT

  • Bears Ears Ultra is a 50 mile, 50K, 30K event hosted in the quiet Abajo Mountains of Monticello, Utah.  The course treats runners to views overlooking Canyonlands National Park and the Bears Ears National Monument. You can even catch views of Monument Valley and the Bears Ears Buttes! Off in the distance is Dead Horse Point State Park, Six Shooter Peaks, Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area, and the La Sal Mountains. Beginning the race in the early morning quiet, runners are greeted to sunrise over Canyonlands National Park.  Once climbing up the single track of Robertson Pasture Trail, runners see as far as Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. Topping out at almost 11,000 ft., runners have wide open views of Southeastern Utah’s canyon country, too! In addition to the amazing views, runners get to run on some of the most remote singletrack trails in Utah!

High Lonesome 100| Nathrop, Co

  • The High Lonesome 100 is a high flying endurance race in the Sawatch Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. With 23,500′ of vertical gain, reaching an elevation of 13,150′, it’s a hell of a course. The race runs in a loop through some of the most beautiful singletrack in the state, and takes runners on the National Continental Divide and Colorado Trails, through two ghost towns, over five alpine passes, through remote basins, over soaring ridges, all in 37 hours. TransRockies Run Stage 1| Buena Vista, Co

  • Although starting at a relatively lower elevation and lacking the monster climbs of other stages, stage 1 has proven to be one of the toughest stages over the years since it is often quite hot and dry. The running surface varies from gravel and rock to sand on a mix of trails, four-wheel drive roads and Forest Service Roads. You may want to invest in a pair of gaiters for your shoes. From the start, you follow a flat dirt road to Checkpoint 1, and from there it’s mostly uphill to Checkpoints 2 & 3. Be ready for the last 8 miles, which is almost all downhill to the finish in Buena Vista.

Leadville Trail 100 Mile|Leadville, Co

  • In 1983, 45 tough-minded runners braved 100 miles of high-altitude, extreme Rocky Mountain terrain — starting at 10,200 feet, climbing to 12,600 feet and running into global endurance history. Today, the Life Time Leadville Trail 100 RUN presented by La Sportiva is one of the oldest, most storied endurance running events in the world — with not one, but two climbs on the crux of the course: Hope Pass (12,600 feet). Every year, a select handful of gritty, gutsy and determined runners make the pilgrimage to Cloud City to Race Across the Sky and take their shot at etching their name among the Leadville Legendary. The red carpet awaits.

Flaming Foliage Finish| Buena Vista, Co

  • The starting line for the Flaming Foliage Relay is in Idaho Springs (7,526 ft) at 16th St and Citizens’ Park, located just off I-70 – about a 45-minute drive from Denver.
  • The route begins in Idaho Springs and follows the Frontage Road to Georgetown (8,530 ft). Next is an epic climb to the relay’s first pass, Guanella Pass (11,669 ft). The construction of Guanella Pass is now completed, so the issues faced in the past with it closing are no longer a problem.
  • After the descent down the Pass, the next four lucky runners will be on single track and dirt USFS Roads, starting on the Burning Bush Trail, finishing with a classic – Leg 11 over the second pass, Georgia Pass (11,585 ft) to Breckenridge (9,600 ft). Next, runners will run on the bike paths through Frisco (9,075 ft) to the thrid van exchange at Copper Mountain (9,712 ft).
  • From Copper Mountain, runners will continue south, over the third pass, Fremont Pass (11,318 ft), to the fourth van exchange in Leadville (10,152 ft). Just imagine how bright the stars will be due to the absence of light pollution! After a loop around Turquoise Lake (9,875 ft) and back to Leadville, runners will work their way down the Arkansas River Valley and finish at River Park in Buena Vista (7,993 ft) where teams can celebrate by enjoying a meal and a cold one
