This is a point to point run along the Rainbow Trail. It gets its name because it was an annual run which ended at Terry Pintane’s house where we would have pot luck dinner.
Place a car at the top of CR 108 where it becomes a Forest Service Road or Methodist Mountain Road. The run begins on Hwy 285 just south of Mears Junction (or the Marshal Pass road). Go east on the Rainbow trail to the Methodist Mountain Road which is the upper part of CR 108 and turn left. Run down the road to the car. This is a 7 mile point to point.
