    The CCRC feels that it is very important for the public to have access to the best running specific facility in Chaffee County: the Salida High School Track. This is a fantastic facility and great asset to our community and we want to keep it that way.

  • Spiral Drive Run – Postponed
    The 2020 Spiral Drive Run has been postponed due to COVID-19.  Rescheduled date is TBA. This annual race is organized by the CCRC and takes place on dirt roads, up and down Tenderfoot Mountain, in Salida.  Course is 4 miles roundtrip, and elevation gain is roughly 500 feet.  This is a great low key event … Read more
